I’m back with a BIG share about my journey with Kambo Body Bliss (KBB), and oh my god, where do I even begin? I can’t even fully explain how transformational this experience has been for me—not just physically, but emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Like, this is next-level healing, and if you’re ready for a deep dive into what that really looks like, buckle up because I’m going to get into all of it.

Okay, so first, let me set the stage. Kambo is a sacred medicine from the Amazon, known for its cleansing and healing properties. It’s not for the faint of heart. It challenges you in ways you never saw coming, but trust me when I say it’s all worth it. It’s not just about purging physically, it’s about purging what’s been lingering in your body, mind, and spirit for YEARS.

The First Few Days: A Wake-Up Call

We’re talking about full-on detox, both physically and emotionally. The first day I felt like I was on a roller coaster of emotions. I was like, “Am I supposed to be doing this? Is this really for me?” But something deep within me just knew I had to trust the process. Like, this is exactly what I needed in that moment of my life.

There were moments where I literally didn’t know if I could take it. The purging? It’s intense. But honestly, as it all came up and out of me, I felt lighter with every wave. By the time I wrapped up the first couple of days, I was starting to feel a little different, and it wasn’t just about my body; it was my heart, my soul. Something was shifting, and I was here for it.

The Power of Music: Helping One Person is Enough

I want to share a little something that I think you’ll resonate with—especially if you're in the business or entrepreneurial space. On day three of the retreat, I was called to sing a song. It was a bit of a random choice, but I’ve always known this song really well, and it felt right to share it in that moment. After the ceremony, when we were all sharing, one person said something that hit me so deeply: that song, the "Every Little Cell" song, actually helped her feel the vitality and vibrancy in her body. She was experiencing this profound sense of health and healing, and the song resonated with her.

In that moment, it really hit me: it’s not about the vanity metrics. It’s not about how many people liked your post, or how many followers you have. Sometimes, when we show up authentically and share what feels right to us—even if it’s just one person who is touched—it’s worth it. When that person reflected back to me how the song helped her, I was like, “YES. This is why I do this.” It’s not about everyone. It’s about helping one person, and that’s so much more powerful than any external validation.

The Critical Voice vs. Archangel Michael

Let me tell you, this journey also had its moments of self-doubt. I almost didn’t step into my leadership when we were doing choreography for our KBB musical. It’s funny because, in my past life (aka pre-Kambo), I would have been all over that role. But something held me back. I was about to speak up, but then someone else did, and I instantly went into this spiral of, “Oh my God, I should have led,” and “What’s wrong with me?”

But then, the most beautiful thing happened. Lua, our amazing facilitator, led us into a meditation where each group represented a different Archangel. When she turned to my group and said, "You all represent Archangel Michael," I literally froze in that moment. I felt this intense wave of energy wash over me, and I heard this voice say, “You’re one of mine now.”

In that instant, I understood. That’s why I wasn’t meant to lead in that moment. Archangel Michael was guiding me to my own leadership in a deeper, more grounded way. I didn’t need to force myself into a role that wasn’t meant for me at that moment. He was choosing me for something bigger, something more meaningful. And the critical voice inside? It was silenced. Gone.

Creativity and Collaboration: A New Kind of Leadership

Now, even though I wasn’t leading the group in the traditional sense, I still played a huge role in guiding our choreography. Instead of being the "official" leader, I became the creative director, which felt so much more aligned. My role was to bring out the best in each of my group members, to help them express the energy of Archangel Michael—strength, courage, protection, truth. We each chose a word that resonated most with us and created movements that reflected that energy. My piece was all about courage, and it was incredibly powerful to embody that energy in a way I never had before.

At the end of it all, we performed our little piece in the KBB musical, and it was pure magic. The energy was electric, and seeing how everything came together was honestly like a dream come true. That’s what happens when we let go of the need to control and just allow things to unfold naturally.

Releasing Old Patterns: The Colon Flush

Okay, so let’s talk about the deep cleansing. After the retreat, I dove into the 10-day cleanse, and wow, I was not ready for what came next. I did a colon flush for the first time, and let me tell you, it was INTENSE. Not only did I cleanse my body, but it brought up so many old emotions. Anger, sadness, frustration—stuff I didn’t even realize I was holding onto. It was a journey. But the relief afterward was indescribable. I literally felt lighter, clearer, and more grounded.

Then, I did the liver flush, and you guys... I was up all night feeling nauseous, but when I woke up, I passed hundreds of tiny gallstones from my gallbladder. I was like, “Wait, what?” But yeah, it was real. And here’s the thing—this cleanse was Painless. Unlike the emergency gallstone situations my family had experienced, I didn’t have to go through that kind of trauma. I took the time to do it the right way, and it was empowering as hell.

The Community Vibe: Everything Changes When We Do It Together

One of the most powerful parts of this whole experience was the community. The KBB group wasn’t just about healing—it was about sharing that healing with others. Even after I got home, I stayed connected with the group. We would meet every morning to do hapeh (a sacred medicine), share Sananga, and just be there for each other. The support was unreal, and honestly, I don’t think I would have had the same experience without it.

It’s so special to find a community that’s committed to doing the inner work together. It’s been everything. I’ve never felt so supported in my life.

Final Thoughts: Why KBB Was Worth It

To wrap this up, I can honestly say that Kambo Body Bliss changed my life in ways I never expected. The deep healing, the growth, the trust, the magic—it’s all real. Whether you do the at-home cleanse or join the in-person retreat, this program is a game-changer. I’ve already signed up for the next KBB in spring 2025, and I can’t wait to do it all over again.
